Oak Frame

Here is an example of the type of frame used to mount the oil and acrylic paintings. It's basically a 3/4" x 1 1/2" rectangle oak border large enough to leave an approx. 1/4" gap between the painting and inside of the frame. A pine base, painted black on the visible side is screw mounted into the oak frame, creating a type of shadow box effect. The painting is mounted into the pine base.
